Plan your stay for Block Party Weekender with our travel, shopping and hotel tips, so you’re close to all the action. While we don’t sort your accommodation for you, we’ll plug you into the best areas to stay, nearby hotels, and key spots.
PLANNING YOUR TRIP
We recommend booking your flights between 2–9 June 2026 so you’ve got time to settle in, enjoy every event, and recover after the madness. Most events are on the Albufeira Strip and within walking distance, with taxis and Ubers easy to grab if you’re staying a bit further out.
The boat party takes place in Portimão, and there will be a coach service to get you there and back so you can focus on the vibes, not the journey.
GETTING TO ALBUEFIRA
Best Airport: Faro Airport (FAO) is the closest airport you need to get to Albufeira (where Block Party Weekender takes place).
Distance: Around 40 minutes by taxi, Uber, or transfer service.
Pre-book a taxi, Uber, or airport transfer before you land to get straight to your accommodation quickly and comfortably, and look out for direct flights to Faro from many major airlines to match your schedule.

WHERE TO STAY
For a seamless experience, we recommend staying close to The Albufeira Strip, where most of our events will take place.
Strip address: 'The Strip, Av. Sá Carneiro, 8200-283 Albufeira, Portugal.'

Airbnbs, villas & rentals
Many Block Party Weekender guests stay in Airbnbs, villas, or apartments booked through sites like Airbnb, Booking.com, or Trivago. Staying in a rental is ideal for groups or anyone who wants their own space to chill, cook, and get ready before each event.
For the best experience, aim to stay within roughly a 1.1-mile radius of the Strip, using this address as a guide:
“The Strip, Av. Sá Carneiro, 8200-283 Albufeira, Portugal.”
Shopping:
Near the strip there are many supermarkets like Aldi for convenience and two great shopping malls:
Albufeira Terrace: A 6 MIN DRIVE FROM THE STRIP / 15 MIN WALK

MGM MUTHU CLUBE PRAIA DE OURA
